The Data Protection law is changing on May 25 to be replaced by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) This places greater emphasis on how businesses and organisation process and protect the personal data of individuals. Businesses in the Staffordshire Moorlands need to audit how they process and store data of individuals and to ensure that third parties who also hold that data, such as external payroll or health organisations are compliant with the law.
