Do you want your prospects and customers to keep returning to your website and social media platforms? Then creating great content that resonates with them is a key element in social engagement.

One of the most productive ways to do this is to give away free stuff, yes FREE!

Sounds a bit crazy but when you give away free stuff that people really want; they become drawn to you and your business, just the same as being able to solve problems for your readers. If you can do this for them without charge you will start to build a long-term rapport with them.

Now I not suggesting that you empty your store or showroom and ship everything off by Fedex. F.O.C!

However you can be creative,  what great content can you provide to your reader base that doesn’t have to cost you hardly anything?

For instance.

A How To Video
a PDF Download
A Free Report
A Webinar
Case Studies
An Ebook

By “giving away”  free stuff,  you are trying to create that rapport with your reader base that gets them thinking ” If this free stuff is this good, how good will the paid for stuff be?” and guess what, they will be looking at your paid- for stuff when the time comes to purchase!

So great content coupled with free stuff and problem solving is a sure fire way to build that rapport and is better than any advertising spend.

And when you become known for producing content that meets the needs of your reader base they will keep coming back for more and recommending it to others thereby expanding your reader base further and further.

What can your business create and provide for free to build rapport with your readers?
